Help me out here. Have you ever heard of that Vietnamese/Cambodian deer that has gill slits on either Side of it's snout. I know it exists because I saw video of it on the news about 15 years ago. I just googled it and found a pick but no video. It was "discovered" as a new species that was also labeled endangered because so few have been seen or recorded.

It's the only panda - the giant panda is a bear. It's quite a standard looking four legged critter really. nothing very weird. when you think about it an elephant is unbelievably strange, and hippos too. The only reason they arn't on this list is cause they're so familiar, but the trunk? one of the weirdest and most amazing things in nature.
