k ive done karate for only like 7 years ( im 14 ) and even i kno that most of those moves are bullshit .... u cant do all that shit when people are moving fast, this guy is a joke
I use to train with Prof Sauer and Ricky Lundell for a little while in his Provo academy in Utah. He is a class act. He is the best teacher anyone can have. If you earn a Black belt from Prof Sauer it will not take you time but hours on the mat. He would often say it is not how long you take BJJ but how many hours of training you put on the mat. I had a little shy of 280 hour on the mat with Prof sauer and Ricky and I have to say it was time well spent and time I cherrish.
This guy is so shit!! Most of those techniques wouldn't work in an actual fight, he has no intensity and most of those moves arnt the actual ones from the ju-jitsu sylabuse (I know I'm a black belt with 5 yrs expirience)
@bend0verb1tch He's keeping it in basic forms & moves. I'm sure that he could have been more advanced. If your a black belt, why don't you show your stuff. I'm sure a lot of us would be interested in seeing you in action.
@RESTOREDAPOLOGETICS: fair enough, i appreciate that it does say basic moves in a fight, i was just stating that alot of these moves would not work if ur opponent was using all of there strength. for example, with the 'chokes' at the begining of the vid, if it were a real situation u wouldnt just be able 2 take ur head out like that, also with the 'head locks with a punch' if some1 were 2 punch u with all there strength u wouldnt be able to just catch it like he did.
@bend0verb1tch Sorry my friend, but you must not know anything about who you are talking about. Maybe you have a black belt in Japanese Jiu JItsu? These moves are mostly right out of the Master Text by Helio Gracie. I've watched blue belts from this guy tap "five year black belts."
@blooit: ur right, maybe they teach different things over in the USA than the UK, but the way i leatn is by learning the technique and then understanding how it works for wen u teach a lower belt to u and i just picked out several faults in wat he was doing. for example, with the 'chokes' at the begining of the vid, if it were a real situation u wouldnt just be able 2 take ur head out like that, also with the 'head locks with a punch' u wouldnt be able to simple catch a full powered punch
@bend0verb1tch if you are a black belt and don't know who pedro sauer is, you should educate yourself before saying stupid things. the blue belt in this video is a black belt now (a legit one, not like you). he won the pan ams this year. have you won the pan ams? doubtful. very doubtful.
@spleenbuster: no i hadn't heard of him and no i havnt won a pam ams, infact i had to google wat the pan ams are and the reasoning for all of this is most likely because u live in the USA and i live in the UK who dont compete in the pam ams, but wat event did the blue belt compete in since ju-jitsu isnt a competitive sport (brazilian ju-jitsu is), and the only martial arts in the pam ams are karate and judo
@bend0verb1tch if you dont think his jiu jitsu is good for self defense you should watch his fight with mr utah. pedro sauer learned jiu jitsu from master helio gracie. he is one of the highest ranking red and black belts in the world.
btw, the pans do have jiu jitsu, stop saying stupid things.
@bend0verb1tch youre not a bjj black belt with 5 years experience, theres probably a handful in the world who have done that, youre talking japjitsu. This is bjj.
This documentary is still in the works & will be posted for educational purposes for free to all those who go into the playlists that they are down loaded for.
@finnyon when you learn with increasing resistance you learn the technique better. if you try the technique at full speed with out practice you will fail. think of it as walking before running.
hahahaha!! :P
