Anti-Piracy bill has to do with the Freedom Of Speech kill switch. Why do you think Win8 has a App Center. MS can choose whats allowed in their app store, if they impose restrictions.

Sadly its all connected back to the nazi era, which I hope we never live.

Do we want the internet to end up like NetFlix, or do we want total freedom, that the television never gave us.

@CrewRite I assure you that the MS App Store is not going to be the only place to get metrostyle apps. Windows Store is a very good option but will not be the only option

If the fully closed iOS can be jailbroken to add external apps, why can't we expect a more open and customizable Windows OS not allow users to manually install metrostyle apps from external source?

yep did you here about the ps4 it is going to have 9720p at 240 fps with a 12 core 24 thread processor at 4.7 ghz with 4x 2.2ghz 4gb graphic cards and 64gb of ram and if this happens i am going to have a hay day because i pulled this out of my well you know what word is next

@gamedexterity Apple having it's own gaming console is an interesting idea! It would be one way to get more native games for Mac OS X.

@linuxdude1 The thing is that since most games are coded in C++ for Direct X, Apple would have a HARD time trying to get developers to develop games for the iConsole since they would have to completely change the game code in order to run on iOS. That's why people game on Windows or current consoles.

@linuxdude1 yes it was a great idea but what we got was the apple pippin...it was an overpriced piece of trash...although the console was good it never went big because of the limited 3rd party support...and i doubt many games like what we see on the ps3 and 360 will make it there
