Are the parallels between Malcolm and Breaking Bad deliberate? Things like two planes colliding midair is funny in "Malcolm" but a horrible tragedy on "Breaking Bad"
OFG this is going to be hilarious. I paused it 20 seconds in and I can not believe I am going to see this again after finishing season 4 of Breaking Bad. Thank you!
Malcolm in the middle was such an underrated show. The main reason I started watching Breaking Bad was because of Bryan Cranston. I knew he was an amazing character and eventually he would get the credit he so truly deserves. Now breaking bad is probably the best show on TV and Cranston has 3 emmy's!
i always tell people that this is the definition of range... you would never know he was capable of laughter in breaking bad, and in Malcolm in the middle you'd never guess he could be so serious
@RizwanZZ He says "yeah". Think it's because he's feeling pretty badass and also he was so scared going in. Keeping his cool walking to his car builds a lot of tension. Up until that point in the series he'd not really embraced the Heisenberg character, I think he's just buzzin on adrenalin. That's how i see it lol.
You need to understand who he was most of his life and where he is at now. He went from a highly respected academic scholar, to a high school teacher family man, and now a meth cook that is taking back money from dangerous criminals and doing business with them.
Something like that doesn't just have a switch that you flip. I think he's not sure what exactly he's feeling whether it's shame, fear, or both. Either way he has been through so much and hasn't really had time to express it.

I am completely wrong thought there would be a montage of him skating and The Speed Walk.

If Bryan Cranston ever hosts SNL again he should do a skit where Walter White replaces Hal from Malcom in the Middle.
