You have to love counting on a rookie running back for optimism... But Connor was a good pick with great value when he fell that low.

But there is a reason he fell out of the rounds that he was predicted to go in early in the year.

I'm more optomistic that Delhomme will be back, Moose is back, and Foster's gone. Those are three great reasons to be optomistic, rather than just Stewart.

I'm a Delhomme fan so I'm not going to go there (not counting on a QB that just missed an entire season), but your faith in Moose is entirely nostalgic and getting Foster out is not exactly addition by subtraction.

Considering we went 7-9 last season without our starting quarterback and a lousy defensive line, I think we have a case for being optomistic. We really shoulda beat Dallas and been 8-8, but we didn't.

Nostalgic like the transition of Randy Moss from Raiders to Patriots nostalgic or nostalgic like Michael Jordan's return to basketball nostalgic?

You must be a fool and an idiot to think anyone is going to start in place of him. Connor rocks because we need depth and we need great players for a variety packages esp. on defense. So Dirty Jersey Panther fan, listen and don't hate. Beason rocks and this is clear just like the monster depth we have a LB. Be happy, moron

He will play on ST and once in a while. BUt he has a lot of potential and should be starting. But he will never start under us. Unless, G-d forbid, Beason gets hurt.

I would like Connor to start for us. He dominates and is a great player.
