@p452721 You're not the first person to say that. Others have mistaken that for Omega's symbol, when it's in fact the symbol the clerics from The Time of Angels used. So no, Omega and the Time Lords aren't returning

@Twilightcatboy we'll see. Stephen Moffet is a fan and I don't think he'd not realise the significance of an Omega symbol. Yes, the clerics had the same symbol but since we don't know who they were worshipping, and in the Three Doctors Omega remarks he should have been worshipped as a god, that doesn't rule anything out.

@p452721 Moffat knows the significance of a lot of things, and sometimes he throws in references just for the sake of references. For example, a lot of people(including myself) thought Idris would be Romana for several reasons. In fact one of the writers once suggested she was a "Time Lady", but obviously that wasn't true.

@Twilightcatboy That's twice now though and he's built a whole army/clergy around it, so it's a bit more than a reference in my opinion. We'll find out towards the end of the year. I'd out money on Omega popping up. The Time Lords, well, that remains to be seen...

@p452721 People say the Time Lords are returning every year, it's getting ridiculous and tedious. To make a big note, Steven Moffat has said killing the Time Lords off is one of best things the show has ever done, as he and many other writers call them a nuisance that do nothing but overshadow the Doctor. In short - he has said he can't stand them and applauded Davies for getting rid of them.

I personally believe that the Amy in the Impossible Astronaut was the real Amy, why else would she say it was pregnant? then during the 3 month tenure when they all found out about the Silence she was kidnapped by the Silence and replaced with a Flesh version. (Silence used other technology etc.) Hence why they said "You will bring the Silence". I also think it could be possible that the flesh copy was connected to the real Amy's mind. Hence why she looked confused around in the little chamber

If I had to guess, Amy was captured either shortly before she and Rory got the invitation in The Impossible Astronaut, or she was grabbed in 1969 when they were running around counting Silences. We also don't really know what happened in that warehouse between The Impossible Astronaut and The Day of the Moon, so its possible that she may have been grabbed in the confusion then. But considering that she's in labor, I'd say she was taken before season 6 or else in very premature labor.

@faelight Time passes inbetween each episode and she told the doctor she was pregnant in Impossible astronaut, then she was captured I believe, though I might be mixed up. When they got her back it could have already been the flesh version and not real Amy.

@bauer024 It's not Jack, he's wearing a tan coat. And it's not the pirate, because he's thinner and doesn't have facial hair, and the face structure is different. If I had to guess, I would say Mal, but that's obviously the wrong fandom. He's also holding what's looks like a relatively modern gun in his hand. He looks kind of like how the Doctor would look if you ruffled his hair a bit and stuck him in a tan trenchcoat.
