  • Nobody understand hakeem because he speaks AWESOME, they don't teach AWESOME anymore...

  • So the dream Shake is a soccer move after all, eh? And Americans think "Soccer" sucks. Somebody call Ronaldinho.

  • the best !!!

  • You gotta love this guy and the tools he brought to the game

  • hakeem is great but can i have subtitles please lol

  • the 22 dislikes are david robinson LOL

  • the 22 dislikes are racist because Hakeem is black

  • 22 people got dream shook..

  • Comment removed

  • LOL he said "sucker move"

  • @shaqdaddymirza *soccer move

  • omg, those pix w/ yao are heartbreaking to look at now.

  • Hes my alltime favorite player..And Shabastian Shaw..

  • nazi mohammad is the best player of all time. don't be stupid

  • LOL at all these idiots saying Malone is better than Duncan. Duncan is the greatest power forward of all time. note: saying Duncan is boring is not a valid argument for disputing this fact. What you call boring I call being a team player, not caring about numbers, not caring about your own fame, only caring about winning and making your teammates better. no PF did this better than Duncan, and he's still performing at a high level. Malone can be compared when he has 4 rings

  • @mjcomfort Duncan great....Malone great. Its a toss up whos the greatest PF but you cant sit here and bash Malone like hes nothing. Yeah no rings for Malone but I can argue that Duncan had better teams. Im finding it hard to laugh at choosing the 2nd all time leading scorer, one of the 50 Greatest players, multiple time all star, best running PF to play the game, blah blah blah over Tim Duncan. I really wana know why youd choose Duncan over Malone

  • @THEGREATMIAH777

first and foremost, Malone was infamous for choking in big games. see Game 1 of the 97 Finals, he blew two go-ahead FTs in the final 20 seconds. and then Jordan put that game out of reach. Game 6 of the 98 Finals (the last game of that series) is another example. Malone also played in a diluted league (the NBA was freshly expanded, diluting the talent pool, moreso than now because the amount of talent is adjusted to the 30 team league)

  • @THEGREATMIAH777

Tim Duncan, on the other hand, has won a title in 3 different versions of the NBA (pre 2005, when defense trumped offense and guards could get hammered on the way to the rim, and hand checked), 2005-2006 (right after they changed the handchecking rules, but not everyone was used to it yet) and in the present era, where driving to the lane is easier because the NBA allows moving picks and no c=hand checking, where offense is superior.

  • @THEGREATMIAH777

Duncan never had a top 15 player (on a year to year basis) like Malone did in Stockton (unless you count Robinson, who was 33 in Duncan's rookie year). TD is a team leader, he doesn't care about stats, plays relentless defense, communicates with his teammates super effectively, and cares only about doing what it takes for his team to win. The ultimate winning mentality. playing for personal stats doesnt achieve greatness (see Wilt or pre 91 MJ).

  • @THEGREATMIAH777

There is too much to really discuss here, but I would encourage you to read Bill Simmons' Book Of Basketball, which explains this with uber deep statistical analysis, and personal anecdotes of watching these games. Seriously, look it up, there is not a greater reference for determining questions like these. His entire aim in the book is to answer these debates because hes a fan and these questions intrigue him

  • @mjcomfort Ill check that book out though...but youre telling me that Malone played in a diluted league?? Im not sure but i believe the 1st couple expansion teams came out in 1989 or 1992 anbd by 92 Malone had already been in the league 7 years Malone played from 85 to 2004 Malone played with alot better competioin than TD and the last year handchecking was allowed was actually 94 aftere Houston beat NY

  • @mjcomfort I understand alot of people might feel Malone had Stockton but I like to think of a basketball team as a big puzzle Stockton and Malone were only 2 pieces you cant have a complete basketball team or puzzle with just 2 pieces thats why honestly TD had better teams uk what Im saying? 1999 TD Drob Elliot Avery Elie JJ Antonio Daniels Malik Rose even though they arent hall of famers make up a more complete and better basketball team than what Malone had to work with

  • @THEGREATMIAH777 And the choking thing I think is a little unfair...I have game 1 of 97 finals downloaded on my ps3 lol and Ive watched it 3 or 4 times...and those 2 free throws that Karl missed were just bad luck the ball rolled out. I can understand if he airballed or bricked badly or if he did a Nick Anderson but those shots were in and out. Im not sure if you play any basketball but the best a shooter can do is line up the shot aim and pull after the ball leaves your hand

  • @mjcomfort and believe it or not i also have game 6 of 98 on my ps3 lol and he didnt choke in that game either MJ just made a brilliant defensive move but Malone has never been a guy who cares about stats there is no denying TD is a great leader but Malone never caqred about stats his role on the Utah Jazz was to score and thats what he did

  • @mjcomfort TD has the advantage in shot blocking, leadership and Im probably one of the only dudes who enjoys watching him play even though hes labeled "boring" but there are so many other entangibles in the game that Malone has the advantage one would be running the floor another would be a psycological edge uk he was dirty cheap he'd get into other players heads a little he always was a better positional defensive player, what i mean by that is Malone could slide his feet better..

  • @mjcomfort meaning better perimeter D he also had some of the quickest and strongest hands in the NBA he would sttrip players all the time, he would block a player below the waist but one of the most overlooked and important assets to Malones game was his ability to draw fouls..he had a few seasons where he averaged 10 or 11 fta a game! Its amazing how much foul trouble could impact a game. I was a big Rockets fan in the 90s and whenever we played Utah Otis Thorpe would always get into foul

  • @mjcomfort trouble it would destroy our offensive flow our rebounding it would change the complexity of the game and when you play against a player who can take out your top players by drawing fouls than you got a big problem on your hands...these are the reasons Ill always pick Karl over TD...one thing i gotta give to TD is the fact that he doesnt need the ball in his hands as much as Malone does he can be effective without the ball in his hands

  • @THEGREATMIAH777

The NBA's hand checking rule was not changed until before the 2005 season. thats easy enough to look up, I shouldn't have to post a link or anything. I understand what you're saying, but Malone just never led his team to a title. He had plenty of chances. He never came through in big games. He was great, but if I'm a GM, who am I choosing to build a championship squad around? Tim Duncan. He's the total package. He does every single skill well and has no holes in his game

  • @mjcomfort actually we are both right in a sense. 1995 Hand-checking eliminated from the end line in the backcourt to the opposite foul line and in 2005 New rules were introduced to curtail hand-checking. But we'll agree to disagree about TD and Karl...Im jus sayin picking Malone over TD really isnt a stupid move

  • Olajuwon>Kareem

  • As a Knick fan, i HATE and LOVE this video lmao..

  • Could be Serge Ibaka's father Ahahah

  • as a soccer player i can see the soccer skills in his game and footwork.

  • Starting 5 to save my life PG) Magic Johnson SG) Michael Jordan SF) Larry Bird PF) Hakeem Olajuwon (played PF when Ralph Sampson was on the Rockets) C) Bill Russell

I am a huge Spurs fan, and think Duncan was/is an incredible player but Olajuwon IMO in his prime was better. Duncan was fortunate Robinson got hurt in 96-97 and he got to go to the Spurs who were already good. In 93-94 Olajuwon had very little help and in 94-95 Clyde was a good addition but nothing close to what he was in POR.

  • luke walton> jordan

  • @HariyWhat whoa

    no.

  • @HariyWhat luke walton is horrible no way he is better than jordan

  • @froflosoul he waas joking man

  • @froflosoul luke walton is the best player of all time. don't be stupid

  • @365to173repubsPWNED nooo...he's second brian scalabrine is the greatest of all time

  • @365to173repubsPWNED no that my friend would be kwame brown

  • @365to173repubsPWNED

Come on, there's no way he's better than Brian Cardinal. Cardinal is the best player of all time.

  • @jovicans douche

  • @jovicans White Mamba, bitches! :D

  • For me he is the best center of alltime because he's a beast at both ends of the floor.

  • Tim Duncan > Karl Malone

  • @HanzSygnal are you kidding me?

  • @PlugWonderWhy Take a wild guess.

  • @HanzSygnal Tim Duncan ~ Kevin Garnett > Karl Malone

  • when he pump fake i jumped

  • i respect hakeem but jordan is the G.O.A.T

  • @JhayMNOP Jordan was great but Russell with 11 titles and Wilt avg 30.1 ppg and 22.9 reb for his career have to be included in the discussion. Or how bout Kareem 6 MVPs and 6 titles. Magic and Larry for their all around play also belong up there. If I was starting a team I would take Magic, but as far as greatest its tough to pass up on 11 titles in 13 years. Russell changed the whole game on D and stats alone could not measure his impact on the hardwood.

  • @BNS224 i respect your opinion :) but i pick jordan because of his skills, his speed, moves :) bill russell didnt do it by him self his teammates are good players too. but in jordan's early years in the nba he has no team mate good enough to help him get a ring plus he retired in 93.

  • @JhayMNOP no good player? scottie, horrace, cartwright was alright,

  • @JhayMNOP After Jordan first retired in 93, that team was loaded. In 92-93 w/ Jordan the Bulls won 57 games and in 93-94 w/o Jordan the bulls still won 55 games. Then 96-98 they added R Harper and D Rodman no exactly scrubs. No doubt the 60's celts were loaded but the talent poll was much more condensed so most of the NBA teams in the 60's had multiple HOFers...

  • @JhayMNOP The MJ argument about no talent around him early in his career is similar to Wilt. Wilt's 76ers were not as good as Russell's C's. Wilt also had to deal w/ personal and team injuries. In 68, PHI lost 2 starters and 6th man in ECF vs BOS. In 69 finals Wilt was playing w/ a hurt knee which he blew out the next year. In 70 finals, when W Frazier dominated, J West was playing injured. Then in 71 playoffs both Baylor and West were DNP. Unfortunately, Wilt gets all the blame.

  • HE is the greatest center of all time to me the best player of all time dont care what anyone says im a big man so i preffer him over jordan

  • You wanna know how GREAT Hakeem is: Think about the great centers in the mid 90's....Shaq,Pat,David Robinson,Alonzo,Dikembe etc...He dominated them ALL!!! Its not like today when you have really only one dominant center (Dwight Howard)...Hakeem played in an era where almost every night u where goin up against great and pure centers and killed them. Im not sayin he's the greatest center of all time but he's up there...in the top 3 easily.

  • Anybody else think he was calling it a "sucka" move?

  • Respect Olajuwon, but his name doesn't belong in the same sentence as Wilt Chamberlain.

  • pg: magic johnson

    sg: michael jordan

    sf: larry bird

    pf: kevin garnett

    c: hakeem olajuwon

  • Pat Ewing > Hakeem Olajuwon

  • @BOSSNIACK1 i love ewing but i don't agree, olajuwon is better!

  • Comment removed

  • Jordan "hakeem is the greatest center of all time"

Shaq "the only person i couldn't stop was hakeem olajuwon"

im so happy i'm a rockets fan

  • Hakeem DESTROYED Robinson in the playoffs after Robinson won the MVP, that solidified his greatness for me. Every postgame Robinson had a perplexed look on his face, like "Damn, I don't know what to do, he's just better."

  • 1. Kareem

    2. Hakeem

  • David Robinson disliked this 22 times..

  • the thing that separates him from other centers.. his athleticism... had the skills of a pg

  • he plays very good basketball and he talks very bad.... dream shake i like it more than milk shake

  • you you youu youu....you you

  • less talk more video!

  • @demoncleaner45 the greatest center of all time can talk all he wants.

  • He has the same accent my dad and uncles have

  • He's from the same place I'm from

  • Inspiring man

  • 22 people who disliked had a nightmare.

  • Greatest Team

    PG - Magic

    SG - His Airness

    SF- The Legend

    PF - The Mailman

    C - The Dream

  • @Vergecurtis the mailman? are you on crack and the dream aint better than russell or kareem

  • @MicsterFonseca I DONT THINK RUSSEL AND KAREEM COULD KEEP UP WITH HAKEEM ATHLETICISM AND FOOT SPEED . HE WOULD HUMILIATE RUSSEL FOR SURE BECAUSE RUSSEL WAS NOT A GREAT OFFESIVE PLAYER . NOW , KAREEM IT WOULD BE REALLY CLOSE BUT HAKEEM JUST A MORE COMPLETE PLAYER . KAREEM JUST HAD THAT ONE SHY HOOK

  • @MicsterFonseca hakeem would tear a new asshole in russels ass if he tried to defend him ! kareem would just start crying and run of to magic asking for more free championships ! and if tim duncan would try to defend the mailman he would fucking die on the spot !

  • @MicsterFonseca easily better russell, and kareem have had the 2 best point guards through out all time to give him sick passes. if you don't know who the point guards are it is Magic and Oscar Robertson

  • @Vergecurtis Tim Duncan should be the PF spot. He carried the spurs to 4 championships and never played with a pg as good as stockton. Timmy doesn't have the nickname thou, so :( Malone also infamously choked in big moments.

  • @Vergecurtis Nice picks,I agree!

  • @Vergecurtis PF- the big fundamental karl malone underachieved during the playoffs, worsened during the playoffs, led his team to nothing, chockes during the finals ex. Scottie telling him the mailman doesn't deliver on sundays, then he missed two freethrows which wouldve given utah the lead, mj then made the game winner

  • @TheReeeeeech karl malone still better

  • @Vergecurtis no he isnt

  • @TheReeeeeech yes he is

  • @Vergecurtis I'd put Duncan at PF instead, but that's pretty much my dream team too haha

  • @moviehypno23 AGREED

  • @Vergecurtis what about Kareem?

  • @Vergecurtis who is the legened??? Is it Larry bird???

  • @lancelotray yes, Larry ''Legend'' Bird

  • @Vergecurtis I said the same thing a few weeks ago but I had Hakeem moved down to PF and either Kareem or Wilt at C. Karl Malone is a very great pick though nonetheless.

  • @Vergecurtis

    pg magic

    sg jordan

    sf larry

    pf duncan

    c bill russell

  • @eminem542542 bill russell is to bad offensively. and tim duncan is fucking boring to watch.

  • @Vergecurtis Russell wasn't a great low post threat. But due to Russell's hustle and speed he was an offensive threat. They did not keep track of offensive rebs back then but he got a lot and gave his team extra possessions. His speed also wore down oppossing centers. When Russell had to he could score. I mean look at the 62 finals against LA, game 7 he finishes with 30 pts and 40 reb.

  • @eminem542542 your username already tells that 40% of your list is bullshit

  • @familyguyguymanu why is it bullshit its a team with player that can score 50 points anytime they wanted russel doesnt need to score cuz he is the best defending center ever and every body else can score while he stops the other team from scoring and what the fuck kind of name is family guy guy manu? u probably a 13 year old asshole who acts like hes tough on the internet

  • @eminem542542 nah, I just like to piss off Eminem dickriders... ehh I meant fans of course, for no particular reason

  • @familyguyguymanu im not an eminem dickrider i made this username years ago when i waz a big fan but now im not anymore and i dont know how to change the username

  • @eminem542542 yea, I was a big fan until recockery

  • @eminem542542 meh.. duncan is to boring to me. and i would prefer hakeem

  • @flyinhindu who gives a shit if he's boring, he wins titles

  • @Vergecurtis U forgot hte ''Big O''

  • @elitaren no, these players are just better

  • @Vergecurtis lol @ the mailman over TD

  • @somuch4freedom

    20 yrs 25 & 10 avg.

and in his prime had to compete against better teams.

and i'm a spurs fan and i'm telling you its not unanimous that TD is best PF ever

  • @somuch4freedom wait i dont get it...how is picking Karl Malone over TD funny? We're talkn bout The fuckin Mailman

  • @Vergecurtis where is th ice man or the doctor why is larry their

  • @flyboiifais because larry clearly better, you don't need to know anything about basketball to understand that.

    C- WILT CHAMBERLAIN

  • @VideosNema wilt chamberlain, was not as good as his stats tell. on the time when he played the centers was 6.6 feet, he was 7.1 feet

  • @Vergecurtis the center back then were about as tall as todays centers. back then the average center was about 6'9 barefoot, todays centers are measured with their shoes and are about 6'10 so there shoes add about another inch.

  • @TheReeeeeech tell me one center in todays league that is 6.10 and doesn't suck

  • @Vergecurtis dwight howard

  • @Vergecurtis dwight howard

  • @TheReeeeeech he is 6.11. so tell me one that doesn't suck

  • @Vergecurtis hes 6'10 hes measured with his shoes so subtract bout an inch 6'10

  • @TheReeeeeech well i measure what is told on the nba stats or wikipedia so in my eyes he is 6.11 but seriously, give me a center is 6.10 written on the wikipedia or nba stats.

  • @Vergecurtis al horord

  • @TheReeeeeech he is not good 12 points per game and 9 reb.

  • @Vergecurtis i know hes not that good but hes one of the best centers today.... the centers today are pretty horrible

  • @TheReeeeeech yeah, we are in a PF time but they are getting old to so.

  • What the fuck is he saying?

  • keep on spamming 5 :D grabbin some ass

  • 2k12 lol

  • Hakeem the Dream. Good Ol Days!

  • i didnt understand a word he said

  • @moneyman237952 thats cos you are a moron.

  • @somaliguy123 lol that's because he doesn't speak english that well. Relax just because I can't understand your pimp don't get so defensive bitch.

  • People saying this or that about the man... well all I know is that a bunch of other superstars have asked for his training on how to play better. The videos are on YT. That alone to me means he knows what hes doing and does it well.

  • jordan said it himself that olajuwon is the best center of all time

  • I just gave the thousandth "thumbs up"!

  • I love how he uses soccer moves in basketball, just like I have, its so handy.

  • My name is Akheem I was named after Hakeem Olajuwon :D

  • REPORTER ASK DREXLER: WHO DO YOU THINK IS THE BEST PLAYER THAT YOU'VE PLAYED WITH?..

    DREXLER: NOBODY BUT HAKEEM OLAJUWON..

1 OF THE BEST CENTER IN THE HISTORY.. LEGENDARY PLAYER

  • wat is olajuwon natural laguage because his english struggle

  • @KDurantula he is nigerian ..so it depend whta tribe he is part of

  • @dramatish ok thank you

  • i hate when people keeps saying that rondo's move.Hakeems been doing this while rondos drinking his mama's milk

  • @xRedFoo209x lmao what ppl said thats his move how dumb hakeem cllearly made it look better and its his

  • @kenny6449 ik

  • @xRedFoo209x just because Rondo does rthe move to to help him in his great geam doesn't mean u have to talk smack I bet if u went 1v1 with Rondo u wouldnn't know ow to stop him so stop hating...smh

  • @DAMUSICMAN222 i didnt say i could beat rondo bro.I was just saying people need to stop saying thats Rondo's move.Hakeem is the one that actually invented that.So its shud be Hakeems move...you feel me? by the way i wasnt talking any smack bro try to understand it first.

  • @xRedFoo209x k just saying because I'm a big Rondo fan and u said he's drinking his mama's milk but even he knows it's now his move he uses it because it works great

  • @DAMUSICMAN222 drinking mama's milk was suppose to mean that he was still like 1-2 years old bro and theres no smack there

  • @xRedFoo209x especially because its just a simple basketball move. just because Kobe/Jordan own that Fadeway no one says its "their" shot. they have copied it too, of course .. people are stupid :D

  • Kareem=Hakeem-Shaq-Wilt
