Despite this the rapids of the Orbe are the safest place to be. The roads along the Orbe in summer are full of commercial canoeing companies tatty vehicles driven by kamikazes keen to get as many turn arounds as possible. Be very very careful on the narrow roads, it can be .........lethal!
