@WestheLegend I like it too! I own a 2004 Jeep Wrangler X with the 4.0L with a 5 speed, the only thing I don't like about it is the freeway performance. Not too happy on hills. BUT its all good. When I bought it, the fan clutch was froze up on it, and it wouldn't run hills at all. I'd have to drop gears to get it up hills like crazy. Its a wheeling animal now though!

@Ghostixe I agree with you on the freeway performance. I took my Grand Cherokee up to Michigan from NC and going thru West Virginia thru the mountains, it did have tendency to want to downshift, but I love it. Bullet Proof and it gets the job done.

That excursion is a BEAST!!!! The ultimate party wagon. And the sound of that turbo diesel like sweet music. I have some places here in Alabama where that excursion can trail around. Can it go EVERYWHERE? Of course not, no vehicle can. But that isn't the whole point either. Off road is just the place where my friends and I like to hang out. Some rigs are more capable than others but theres a lot of fun to be had in any old POS off road with good friends.

You can pick them up used for dirt cheap and with a small investment cost can have a crazy go anywhere Jeep.

well, kinda different vehicles in some ways, I never did like Excursions, I'd rather have a Jeep. Instead I own a Tahoe, which is awesome, but gas mileage, well, it's not so great, Jeeps have good gas mileage compared to my truck, and are awesome at offroading.

Its my Ex, And I know. I got those tires very cheap. I am in the middle of placing the body on a 6.4 common rail chassis. It will have lockers then, but for the track. The thing is stupid fast, but just to heavy for anything but open dunes or lager mud pits.
