This was, is, and will be one of my favorite songs, which is an even better song than the Beatles'. When I first listened to his song, which was "I Go Crazy", his voice and melody caught my ears though I was just a Beatlemania. Since then I've collected all his albums and 45s. They are essential to my life. But he's not here with us any more. I miss him very much.

To this very day, I still remember hearing this in my dad's car, while he was stopping by a friend's house. It was probably late 70's/very early 80's, and even at such a young age, it helped instill within me a concept of what love and romance were-- This and I Go Crazy!
The late 70s through the early 80s had some INCREDIBLE ballads. Record sales were in the gutter, so the record companies had an "anything goes" attitude in an attempt to find the next huge thing. So many kinds of music were charting all at the same time. You don't really see that today. Now it's just more and more of the same sanitized gangsta rap singles and auto-tuned moppets with no talent. I'd give anything to be 13 again!
I think this has become one of my all-time favorite songs...:)
