I can never understand why older ladies always seem to go for an afro look. Every older woman in my family has the typical "old lady afro", and I just never found them to be very flattering. Whenever I get older I'm going to go for long silver locks :D
I am 66 years old. Just cut my hair shorter. Was below my waist. Now up to middle of my back. There is so much freedom with long hair. And so many styles. And the menfolk like it. My husband never liked or mentioned my hair in the years when it was short.
I've seen women over 50 with long hair that looks great (it's like with any other age, some women look great with long hair, and some look great with short or medium hair).
