in my oppinion the ds lite is the best it is slim n sleek the colours look nice the screen is lighter it has a gba slot and the dsi doesnt there arent realy any problems with the ds lite whereas with the dsi the cameras brakedown to often the screen sometimes freezes and sometimes the sound dissappears im not to sure about the phat ds but i can say it doesnt look as good and the quality isnt as good

i say all of this out of experiance i have all 3 ds's

Well for starters, The quality of the DS phat is just fine (the back light isn't as bright, but it works fine), and beyond that it's easier to hack//mod (no real firmware restraints). It's sturdier and the hinges are less likely to break than on the DS lite. and as far as the colors go Case mod FTW. The size is also Nice, it fits my hands a LOT better than those tiny lites do (I'm a lot bigger//older than most people who use the DS) . and I think it looks better.
