Automation in Cubase

when i create an automation point with the mouse it creates two points do you know how to turn off that function? because yours didnt do it

@saeir, i dont know about this kind of option and cant think of reason why there should be one like that.

all i can think of is some kind of an error with cubase it self.

i dont get what the point of adding automation is, it seems to me all it does is that it lowers and raises the volume/effect of tracks, is there something i missing?

First let me say that this video is to show how to record automation, not how to use it in a song.

Automation helps you make changes through the song, adding tension using automation to change volume for vocal or lead, opening the filter cutoff on various tracks, increasing the reverb amount /.send level a break.

If no sound in a song evolved in any way, than all songs would be very boring.

modulation is also a useful tool, but its not always enough.

Yes. In the Instrument folder you have two tracks. one is midi and the other is the audio.

VST plugins only works on audio tracks.
