I met the Captain too. He took the time to sign about 10 Captain Sensible record covers for me, we were both joking and laughing. I told the groupies that I'd have signed copies available in a bit for $25 and then turned back to the Captain and instructed him to continue signing which made him laugh. I KNOW fame has never gotten to him. He's the best.

Man i've been following the good cap and the damned for years and never heard this tune before.

Strange that he rips off his own song, silly kids games, from the black album.

Check out the universe of Geoffrey Brown, although some of the sinth sounds are a tad dated now it's an incredible album.

its pretty intresting this track as i guess its about silly people trying to reach that pot of gold on tv game shows when the captain has done that channel 5 karaoke show Night fever and also had the theme tune for Big break, its a bit double standards

I think around this period captain was forced into making "novelty" records to try and capitalise on the success of "happy talk" and "wot" but this falls flat on it's face, good video though..If you want to a proper introduction of captain musically check out his solo albums "revolution now" and "the universe of geoffery brown"

I dunno - this was after "Glad It's All Over" showed A&M that Cap could do a "real" song and have a hit... however, the tune IS a total rip-off of "Lively Arts" by this group called The Dimmed or something like that...
