Persimmons taste great!!! I went down south and picked a lot of em and planted the seeds here in the mountains of New York State. For a real treat put em in the freezer and eat em frozen.

Even if you have lived in Mitchell your whole life, you won"t top Mrs. Green about all things Mitchell, especially persimmons. I love to listen to her tell about all the things she has done.
