thanks to YouTube many once great bands have a little virtual reviva. But even better is that The Searchers still exist and do good shows (though the line up has changed a bit since 1964, but the founding member is still in it). And then there is Mike Pender with his "Mike Pender's Searchers" - not quite the same, unfortunately, as Mike's voice is definitely not the same as "way back then" and his band, I think, does not get close to today's (real) The Searchers.

The company who now owns the PYE catalog (Universal), should bring out a Searchers CD with the title "The Chris Curtis years", and include on it, all his compositions, plus, the tracks he performed Lead Vocals on. This would help give him the credit he deserves as a major force in the band !
