Ok Awsome I will IN A GOOD WAY call you an engine freek. This awsome you are freeked out on engines. This sounds exaxctly like a 4-71 with a straight pipe. I know because I have 3 draglines 2 with 4-71's one had a straight stack, but I put the muffler back on it sounds better and more official whith it on. Keep on playing with the fan I used to do that. An air impact run at slow speeds sounds like an old Evirude outboard engine, try it sometime. We are what the clueless call gearheads.
