This remake adds so much help to the player it is unbelievable. When you hover over an item, particularly in the console versions, it gives you the most useful options. So basically you hover over an item and the game tells you what to do e,g whether you should grab the item. I remember the days when I played this(The original) (Many years ago) and spent hours wandering what to do with items. Do today's gamers really need that much help......use your brains!!!!!!!!!!! Great remake, can not wait!

People didn't know how to point & click? Are they fucking cavemen? Yes, it's a 20 year old system, but IT WORKS JUST FINE!! Direct control will be FAR MORE annoying than point & click. Instead of just clicking on a spot on the screen and letting the character walk himself there, now you must take 'direct control' and walk yourself around the screen? Trust me, this is NOT an improvement. They BETTER still offer the point & click style, or this special edition will be an EPIC FAIL in my books.

@Zagallovh is the thing that i hate, the real monkey island is the first one and the second one, the third is totally an another game. I liked it, but it's not at the level of the first two.

you talk about the TRUE finale, but the TRUE final is the ORIGINAL one.

you've got to make work your brain and see what is the real secret.

@jshadowhunter - Aye there'd be no use in remaking curse. Its already voiced and still looks pretty much up to date. Maybe they could touch some minor details up (give us a new ending too :P). But nothing really worth the effort.

The original game runs at a really low resolution too so, ramp up the res and they could be raking in the cash... I'd love the chance to play Curse again, I haven't played it in yeeeeears!

2 things i like about MI2SE over MI1SE

a) option of speech with original graphics

and

b) new art more faithfull to original art.

the 2 points kind of cancel each other out though, since the main reason i wanted speech with original prapics in MI1SE is because some of the new art was hideous.
