  • Not to split hairs, and maybe someone brought it up, but that flying fox species (0:52), probably a Mariana, is definitely not extinct. It's a shame to bring it up, because there were some really cool flying fox species that are now extinct, but they aren't here.

  • If the pink-headed duck is there i think that's been rediscovered so i think you should put a caption there saying it's rediscovered or something.

I'm not sure about that though so you can search if i'm right :D.

DAMN YOU HUMAN YOUR SCARY! ( But i am -.-" )

  • i just wish we could turn back time...

  • and on 43 seconds is rediscover in tazania

  • hey syberthoot still exist and pink headed duck

  • hey syberthoot still exist

  • Lol omg most of these species had to go anywayz...they look hella ugly and weird. If they couldn't cope with change then they need to move on. Survival of the fittest.

  • @damiion666 Or, you could accept the fact that humans are intent on exploiting, hunting, and driving all non-human creatures into extinction with our greed and "inhumanity"... We are the only species on the planet Earth which seems dedicated to her destruction.

  • @txtblockd Your view of evolution is very narrow minded due to humanity's brief lifespan. There will always be adaptation and renewal of species after mass extinctions. After the Permian Extinction it is estimated that 96% of all species died. Again 65million years ago due to an asteroid as the mechanism. Maybe we are a mechanism for mother nature to clear the path for new designs. There are animals that are adapting along with us such as domesticated animals. This is their strategy for survival

  • @damiion666 As for domesticated animals, we CHOSE them to survive along side us. They did not adapt. We forced them to submit. My view is narrow, as I believe that mankind chooses to dominate and exterminate, rather than live alongside our fellow species. I have read the histories, I am not restricted by religious doctrine, and I am willing to accept the fact that humans are responsible for much of the destruction of our time, rather than willing participants in that destruction.

  • @txtblockd It's irrelevent. Man is a part of nature, a product of nature therefore it is nature's doing and undoing of species. Domesticated animals by definition are adapted to their surroundings and they survive in a symbiotic relationship with man.

  • @damiion666 But I see your point of view. Many external factors have played a role in the survival of certain species. However, as the philosophers of our planet, don't we owe it to all living things to evaluate our position on this earth and find a way of co-existing with others in a non-violent manner?

  • you did not even label them

  • it says it under the like bar

  • the pink heade duck has been rediscovered just letn ya know

  • Over 99% of the species that have ever existed on the planet are extinct.

  • @equarg

    sad...

  • It'd help if you had names for the animals there sport.nice vid and song choice all the same.

  • 0:34 they're endangered in new zealand. not gone

  • The yangzes river dolphin in 2:20 was extinct somewhere around 2006 or 2007. Its really sad. every extinction i think of are all involved humans

  • @wkkimmy Species are dying out or becoming close to it while humans continue to breed and expand and develop. Eventually there'll be no humans left and we'll have to find a food source to eat, like ourselves, lol.
