After watching both parts in full, I gotta say I believe him. I was moved by all of it, he has such knowledge that just can't be denied except for the ignorant and arrogant. Such detail and I do plan on watching both of them again writing down major points and also interested in reading his book even more! To me he is a hero, he gave up temptation and evil and followed what he heart was telling him all along, he has inspired me to not be corrupted and enslaved by power money and sex.

I have read hundreds of comments regarding John Perkins books and interviews and i find it funny that nobody mentioned the fact that the main idea was already made public by the Russian president in 2006. The famous Munich speech, at Global Security conference, in essence is exactly what Perkins is talking about. There's also the possibility that his book/tour might be part of a psychological operation to put a friendly, likeable face on deeply rooted criminality by the "system" (business/banking/political/intelligence/military). I have read hundreds of comments regarding John Perkins books and interviews and i find it funny that nobody mentioned the fact that the main idea was already made public by the Russian president in 2006. The famous Munich speech, at Global Security conference, in essence is exactly what Perkins is talking about. The root course of the all bad stuff is cheating poor counties and forcing its people to give up their land and resources. Just look at Putin's Munich speech, its the same as Perkins.

Osama bin-Laden is/was a real human being. He was involved with the CIA in creating al-Qaeda to use against the Soviet Union during the Afghanistan-USSR war.

Yeah, my worst fear is that the world will fight over oil. Not like it is now, but even worse. When we get to the last drops of oil, what will happen? I really hope by that time there is another energy resource. I hope anyone who goes into engineering out there and can hope to deal with these problems thinks to make a change themselves and unifies others with them to work and independently find better ways to deal with energy. Resources, even oil, are still a long way from being exhausted, I should know I study just this. The world's crust where these minerals, oil & gas are is incredibly expansive. Just in one state here in Australia, we have enough coal to run the county for another 200 years. Even at these insane rates of usage, petroleum is still viable for another 50 years for conventional sources. Then they are going to use oil shale for more crude oil & hydrates on the ocean beds to get more natural gas = HUGE!

There's probably a lot of truth in Perkin's story. There's also the possibility that his book/tour might be part of a psychological operation to put a friendly, likeable face on deeply rooted criminality by the "system" (business/banking/political/intelligence/military). What Perkins admits is tantamount to fraud, conspiracy, coersion, and much more. If his story were true, he'd be subject to indictment under RICO. My basic idea was that the people controlling this Train-set we are standing on, were messing with the train-set, causing horrid living situations for its people. All equations seemed to come to that conclusion. But How? I didn't understand. Once I heard John's story, my "piecing together" of world events was darn near completed, and he is an inside source. I'm not sure whether he is telling the whole truth or not either, but if you are going to make a statement like that, it is completely meaningless unless you backup your statement with reasons as to WHY you don't trust him.

What??? I agreed with him right up to the point where he spoke about George Washington and how america should spread freedom throughout the world. Washington and his gang were rich slave owners, who commenced the irradication of the native americans.
