  • yeah... we're playing this for our orchestra concert. We are no way up to this speed nor this talent. It is a pretty challenging piece.

  • @puppelum Well the reason it was so out of tune is because this was the piece they let 2nd's try the first violin part and 1st play the 2nd violin part. I was in this concert, I know we didn't sound good lol. But this is the lowest orchestra with mostly elementary and middle school kids and beginers and what not so yea.

  • A highly simplified rendition. Not rubato enough at the beginning, and the violins show a disappointing lack of dynamic range. Who arranged this?

    Im playing this peice in my ochestra and the notes may be the same but I think its the conduter slowing it down at weird spots thats making sound different (starring at her clarinet sheet for this song) I think...

  • Nope, it's an arrangement. I played this in my youth orchestra and I have a recording of it. In both cases it was in A major. This one is in G major.
