  • i have a friend who detonated a ford 9" at the launch and oiled the whole track down. he went with a curry axle after that cause its alot stronger than factory 9"

  • Actually looked like some good driven too. Appeared the guy was quick enough to get on the brakes before the nose hammered the wall. Seemed to slow real quick there in the last few feet.

  • torque = win

  • I like the part where his wheel fell off.

  • made in china

  • better that the wheel came off at the beginning than at top speed.

  • We germans would comment an accident like this with: "Der hat doch ein Rad ab!"

In english: "This guy has got got a wheel loose!"

  • @TheBigTittyTwister

    =D der spruch passt

  • @TheBigTittyTwister ROFLOL!!!! man im sorry but i dont know if you were being funny or not but that was freakin hilarious

  • @Resulant32 Actually it was ment to be funny. Usually we use this phrase to express somebody to be nuts. An english version is: "You got a screw loose!". The same phase exists also in german ("Du hast 'ne Schraube locker!"), by the way. It can be used to express despite but also for (indirect) recognition or just kidding. It's always a matter of the context.

  • At least the driver suffered no injuries and the car should've been able to be rebuilt. Still unfortunate to put all that hard work in preparing your car to be able to do what you love, only to have the axle break. Poor guy - or gal!

  • um no its not shredded tire its fucking sheared wheel studs it happends when a drag car does to much of a burn out an they take off it shears the studs

  • darg raceing sux

i mean really they just go straight and switch gears

    try drifting for once

  • @asifh13

Then why are you watching drag racing vids?

  • @rootypootooty dis waznt a drag race vid

it was about da car loseing its wheel

  • @asifh13

The title of the video says "Pro Stock Shootout." When I think of pro stock, I think drag racing. But, considering your evident dislike of drag racing, a little ignorance should be expected.

And by the way, if you don't think drag racing takes skill, why don't you post a video of you trying to drive a Top Fuel dragster to over 300 mph in less than 4 seconds?

It should be simple, you don't even have to shift!

  • @rootypootooty u know wat fuck this video

    lets talk about cars here

u think that drag raceing is hard

well i do think the guys puts alot of works to their cars

but its not that hard to shift gears and go strait

but its harder to do quick turns and corners

  • @asifh13

Just a reminder, here's what I wrote in my previous reply:

"And by the way, if you don't think drag racing takes skill, why don't you post a video of you trying to drive a Top Fuel dragster to over 300 mph in less than 4 seconds?

It should be simple, you don't even have to shift!"

If you don't agree that piloting a Top Fuel dragster to speeds and times as mentioned above, than your biased opinion of motorsports is not valid.

  • @asifh13

Do I think drifting takes skill? Absolutley! The pros are some of the most talented drivers out there. However, do I watch drifting competitions on TV or attend events?

No. I don't enjoy it. At ALL! But, the little I have seen, I recognize the skill it takes to "drift" high performance race cars around the track like that.

But to not recognize the skill to blaze down the 1/4 mile, 1000 foot now, at 300 mph is just plain ignorant.

  • @rootypootooty look i know all the motorsports takes skill

but im just saying drag raceing sucks cuz some ppl think that drag raceing is da best and they only think american muscles are the best

i didnt mean that drag raceing really sux

    we cool now??

  • @asifh13

We're cool. Weird, this is the first time I've concluded an internet arguement without someone dropping multiple f-bombs and homophobic slurs.

    Refreshing.

    Later.

  • @rootypootooty well ppl r different

  • fuck jap cars. its all about american muscle

  • Thats was Russ Jung of Jung Performance out of Ft Lauderdale Give 'em a call and ask him what happened That was at Moroso Motorsports Park which is now named Palm Beach International Raceway

  • Great save. Very little body damage too. New rear end, repair ladder bars, little message of the quarter, good as new. I bet they were back racing in the next round.

  • Good thing he wasnt doin 100mph down the track when that happend.

  • ahaha he ripped out his entire hub, fuckin awsome.

  • This kinda stuff is very common with a chevy to loose bolts tires mufflers trannys hoods etc .

most chevys must be restored to factory specs within 20k of new .

There nothing like a Ford or Dodge product .

Most chevy parts can be purchased at your local auto wreckers and cost maybe 80 dollars for a complete restore .

  • @Lotum4n

u are a dumbass.. like you cant buy ford and dodge and every other car part at a yunkyard.. what a moron..

20k.. hahah. ur a tool bro.. now go die. lmao

  • I think he pulled what my friend did and snapped the axle at the wheel

  • must h?ave missed "lug nut day" at school lol j/k good save though!

  • It fell off. It fell off! It fell the f**k off! LOL.

  • Considering how hard they're coming out of the hole, he did a great job of stopping it so quickly. I thought he was going to seriously mess up the front end of that RS. Well done man!

  • camaroz2881666 you stupid its not a powerful block its a weld and an american car!!! you will never see that kind of shit on japanese cars cause the are hella powerful and well made

  • nip cars are fucking gay way worse than american cars bitch

  • wrong! you never see that on a Japanese car because they do not have enuff power to do that.

  • @MagikDick Japanese cars can and do have just as much power as vehicles like that. You don't see them lose their rear wheels because the cars are built much better, and probably not race prepped by rednecks, such as the case with this vehicle.

All this aside, damn that's a lot of torque xD

  • @BanditOMG The best working tracks are prepped by what you would consider "rednecks". Don't make ignorant comments such as that.

  • @MagikDick yep because this happends eveyday on mopars. and for your information. there is japanese cars with way moore HP than this prostock.

  • @swedishmans

Really what fucking Japanese car has 2,000 -3,000 HP, you let me fucking know. I've only seen one Eclipse with like 1800 or something, which set the world record for fastest Import, so your talking right outta your ass.

  • @Roger0416

    watch?v=xGhorgniFzA

  • @swedishmans

Impressive but still, the not faster than the eclipse I'm speaking off, and have you seen PRO MODS? Those things do 3-4 Sec 1/4 mile. And it's all muscle!

And sorry to tell you but Mazda your talking off has no more than about 1600 HP.

    /watch?v=oHv_jKJVQ-Q

    /watch?v=qDenHMMkGMo

Please, get your head outta your ass!

  • @Roger0416

thoose vids you showed me was 1/8...

its top fuels who does 1/4 on 4 sec.

and sry man i mby choose a stupid way of saying that there are faster imports than this... i just wanna make it easy by writing more Hp..

  • @swedishmans

My point is, the best of muscle beats the best of import as you your self just stated :

"its top fuels who does 1/4 on 4 sec."

No Import runs 4 sec 1/4's...

Anyways, cars are all personal preference buddy, we could argue for ever and we will never change each others minds.

    See ya!

  • @MagikDick twin turbo inline 6 supras bro

  • @2pimpinout LOL The reason Japanese cars do not do that is LACK OF TORKE AND LACK OF REAR TRACTION.

Your "toy" cars do not have enough mass and power to even strain your parts... I hope you understand that before continuing talking things you do not know about.

  • you call plastic and 60 horses wellmade and powerful. dumb as hell

  • is the wheelie bar attachd to the axle?

  • yup

  • Comment removed

  • @russell379x

I didnt see an axle atached tot he wheel

  • well then he sheered the studs off....and they do brake at the flange too

  • i hope the front end didn't get screwed up at all

  • Look's like another case of Bird shit welding .

  • lol

  • OOPS! LOL!

  • lucky it happend at start

  • thats not pro stock

  • he either broke an axle of sheared off the wheel studs. either get C-clip elimnators

    or bigger studs

  • Thats a big tire

  • Comment removed

  • Shut the fuck up 392g.

  • i think you are an other japanese import lover or ford mustang gay lover .... the wheel break because its a gm block with real power.... go play with yourself in your made in japan car.... you are a mistake ....

  • and that wheel went on to win the race and the prize money..

I'm kidding for the people who dont have a sense of humour...

  • Time to purchase some c clips! Yeah he snapped an axel! I have had this happen before, but if you have the right rear you can stop this from happening! I almost took out the tree when it happened! The wheel went further than I did!

  • Definitely snapped the axle at the housing... you can still see the rotor attached to the wheel indicating the wheel studs are intact.

  • i wonder if the tire made it all the way down

  • He sheared the wheel studs.

  • this could be a southwestern commercial

    "Wanna get away?" lol

  • lol.

  • lololololol

    thats a really good one

  • holy fucking horse power....

  • Super good hooking to break an axle so veolently. LOTs OF FUCKIN POWER (lofp)

  • Cheap rear and axels!

  • Didnt Shred a wheel it broke an axle

  • cool! (btw that was at launch)

  • Oh shit firestones lmao

  • got in a hurry and left his tire on the line.

  • Very lucky!

  • That is why they make full floating hubs/axles.

    Lucky man all the same.

  • SOOOOO LUCKY!!! i have seen that exact same thing tear a quarter panel off

  • looks like a broken axle to me

  • rite at the flange

  • thats just somebody not torquing the wheels before the run...hes lucky thats all that happened.

  • it broke axle at the housing

  • LOL!!!!!! that would be in barising have one of my wheels just fly off LOL!!

  • wheelie bar saved the bottom of the car

  • looks like someone forgot their torque wrench

  • fucking funny! lol that was like puff bye bye wheel lmao!!

but yet i feel sorry for the owner since it was a nice ride..

  • sorry it happened. good thing it didn't break on the other end!!!!!

  • lol line him up again he has a whellie bar to keep the car going

  • I missed the shred part. I only saw the wheel break off. Darn.

  • love that car! but tire? well it was huge, but is the point of the weel to fall of like that? lol, love the video, and again LOL!

  • lmao nice lol

  • 2 fast 4 u

  • well, atleast he didnt hit the wall lol

  • hahahahahah oopsie

  • running to small of a hub

  • were they racing pinks?

  • the engine was like "the tire is slowing me down"

  • i think i forgot top put the bolts back on

  • at which point did the wheel shred?

  • I've seen those before. Luckily the driver is okay, except for his wallet!

  • Looks more like the axel broke right were the mount for the rotor is.

  • holy shit was this at moroso motorsports park

    thats my home track hahahah

  • oh my fucking god

  • Cool video. Too bad for the guy who owns the Camaro!
