  • The world is round. Who would have thought...

  • Its wide, but its way to much vig due to the full chip

  • you can buy this lens on e-bay from ebayer kumir000

    his store opticforless

    Good luck

  • Holy shit... it's so fucking wide

  • dude get a full frame fisheye or dont make videos

  • the city looks like lazy town!

  • i now have a migraine after watching this

  • There's a hint of barrel distortion. Barely noticeble, but it's there...

  • Is that an actual lens or a screw on attachment?

  • @syedahmedrazaabidi skateboarding, my brother's a boarder

  • how much would a 8 mm Peleng fisheye lens cost?

  • just a small bit of vig there mate

  • Official canon video made with 8- 15 mm f/4 !

    web.canon.jp/imaging/ef/samples/ef8-15_f4l_f_usm/

  • fish eye make me dizzy

  • @WetOct0puS you wont make a very good fish then :P

  • @beepIL hahahaha i lol'd

  • hi i dont know to much about photographic fisheye lenses but why are they ditermined in mm like 6 mm or 10.5mm? does it really matter

  • @NBproductionspresent The wider the field of view the smaller the # in mm's and the narrower (more "zoom" then the larger the # in mm's...

So an 8mm is really wide at almost 180 degrees which is pretty much the physical limit ever possible of a traditional lens.

From there 35mm is like a normal camera.

50mm is a bit more zoomed in...

    100mm is more zoomed in...

    200mm is more zoomed in...

400mm is really more zoomed in...

800mm is like really really more zoomed in...

    1600mm is like... Telescope

  • I would love to walk around wearing glasses that could distort life like this.

  • nice, you should make skateboarding vids

  • what's the crop-factor?

  • What's the purpose of such a distorted image?

  • this lens would look way better on an APS-C body.

  • im gunna vomit

  • me2

  • why dose it have a big black ring around it?????can u change that or do u half to deal with it??

  • I have the Canon Rebel T1i and I was wondering were you bought it and If it fits taht camera :]

  • Nice...

  • Is it good to use the peleng on a Nikon d3000? will i have a linear distorsion or black corners?

  • So it's safe to use the Peleng 8mm on a 5D Mk 2? I've been wondering about that and couldn't find a good answer...

Good to know the mirror won't hit the back of the lens. I'd hate to have to get rid of the Peleng when I get my 5D Mk 2, I really like the fisheye.

  • NO, if you use peleng with original EF mount (not M42 with EF adapter!). See for Peleng EF, not M42.

  • I got the Peleng with original EF mount, not with an adapter as far as I can tell. I bought it as an EF mount lens.

  • @1313EbutUoy : It depedns on the mount. Mine has a factory EF mount and it works perfect with my 5D. Few people have noticed problems when using M42 Peleng with a 3rd party M42-EF adaptor. See this picture:

  • @1313EbutUoy it is safe, I am using it normally, plus you can see small tutorial for shaving samyang on my blog :)

  • This would be cool for a peephole effect in a movie.

  • @Nihilism13

thats exactly how they do it :D

im studying media ;) i know my shit.

  • to me this is too mutch of the goodies... the distortion is awesome, but makes it surrealistic, and the enormous vignetting is annying. nice to see how extreeeeme wide angle looks like though, thanks for sharing =)

  • Can you zoom through a little of the vig?

  • i vomit now

  • ...why?

  • nie wygląda mi to na ten aparat

  • A na jaki wygląda Panie Foto Arturze? :)))
