I have a Pro 40 and the Octopre MkII to match… Brilliant products… and regarding the latency… The firewire interface is so quick.. I have my latency (buffer) set so low that it isn't an issue…
The mixer can route inputs directly to outputs for low-latency monitoring, but, unlike the original Saffire, there are no DSP effects, so if you want to give your talent a vocal reverb monitor mix, you’ll have to monitor from your recording software and deal with some latency.
@sturoc0 so that means I can use a plug in like a reverb and sent it to a monitor mix that is zero latence!? I wish this works like the PRO 24 DSP, where you can use FX on the monitor mixes!

@ZinayH there are none in the hardware unit, it is in the software you use i.e. plug ins etc
