I've noticed that the BBC has started becoming more pro-Government and hence conservative in it's rhetoric recently, could be a sort of response to the far right accusing them of being Marxist Propaganda and such perhaps?
@EviscerationK It's certainly looking that way. By the way, my dislike bar for this video is unusually big. Have I said anything really stupid or wrong in this video or is it just the fact that it's in text?
@Orygyn I think it's just the fact that unless they really agree with something, people will act quicker upon showing displeasure than showing agreement, and there aren't that many people who have watched this, then again it could just be some anti - occupy types who find it too bothersome to actually make a point on this video so instead they just press dislike :/
BBC have been calling them anti-capitalists for months and it's been pissing me off for months. Nevertheless, we still have the Bank of Ideas occupation and the Finsbury Square occupation. The Bank of Ideas is making much more noise than the camp around St Pauls ever did.
society is regressing. our liberty is shrinking right before our eyes.
as to that caption "anti-capitalist protesters" its aggravating that such short hand labels are being applied to complex situations, but the practice too commonplace for folks to notice, i guess (?).it happens from every major news organ i know of, even the ones who vaunt their reputation (like The Independent, or the BBC).
i see what you mean, but i personally feel its a good brush to be tarred with as it might actually bring some debate on how capitalism has failed and to talk about what is inherently flawed about it and what can be improved.
@SkidRowRadio Perhaps although I have to say that I'm skeptical such a debate will take place anywhere significant. We can certainly talk about it here on YT and we spent a good chunk of last year doing exactly that but with the news focusing on the legality of their protest and never really going into detail about why they're there, I'm not hopeful.

Doesn't surprise me in the slightest! BBC is slowly turning into Fox News. How's the music going?

Man... Media is controlled by government... There's just no doubt about it.
The American government makes CNN dramaticise every little thing
The British government makes the BBC promote all their own views...
Whether you like it or not, the government is always the one holding the strings...

Do you have a link to an article that describes the processes of the court case.

i see what u mean. but actually a fair amount of them are anti capitalist. and so they should be. ; P
SkidRowRadio 1 month ago
@SkidRowRadio To the ones that are, fair enough. I just have a problem with the BBC tarring them ALL with that brush.
Orygyn 1 month ago
I wish they were anti-capitalist, right now they're just against monetary corruption; whatever that means.
