  • It's horrible the way there are not many trees. Don't you have the feeling that it really had to have been a lot greener, more lush, when Marie was there ?!

  • Isn't is "La" Domaine de Marie-Antoinette? Because Domaine is feminine and therefore le déterminant must be féminen aussi :)

    Versailles c'est la plus belle place au monde. Mais ma partie préfèré est certainement le hameau. C'est tellement calme et tranquil la-bas...mon Dieu que la monde est belle..:)

  • @xnicholasjerryjonas Pocket Oxford-Hachette French Dictionary © 2005 Oxford University Press:

    domaine /dɔmɛn/

    masculine noun

    estate;

    field, domain;

    territory.

  • The first piece is The Arabesque no. 2 (the Arabesque no. 1 -it isn't here- is also very, very beautiful...look for it) and the last piece is the Clair de lune of the Bergamasque Suite...and of course, it is from Claude Debussy.

  • It's all Debussy, though I'm not sure of the names of the pieces.

  • I was at Versailes, yet we didn't get to go out to the Le Petit Trianon or her little village.
