its what they call FINGER STAMINA
u acquire it through constant practice of o2jamming....especially on songs w/ jackhammers/mashes/fast bpms

Your friend is lying. Your thumb is relatively faster than your pinky finger so it is the only reasonable "finger" to use. I personally use my left thumb, but I know many pros that use right thumb.
