  • they sell a rubber flashing at home depot for when a vent pipe comes out of the roof. all you do is slide it over the top of the pipe and use some small self tapping screws to secure it and it will keep the feed dry..

  • Should have left it 2 inches from ground that way it get air never mold and it still feeds itself and rain never hurt it!! I got around 45 of these!!!!

  • The downside to feeders like this is one infected deer or other animal can infect an entire herd since they're eating from the same spot. As long as they're all healthy, it's all good. But....

    Jus sayin......happy hunting

  • does the rain bother that feeder? sweet idea!

  • how long did it take the squirrels to destroy that? Those little bastards chewed up an aluminum funnel on several of our feeders.

  • I made mine with a ten foot head and 4" pvc double wye so 2 cant eat at the same time.. they only hold about 45-50 lb of corn though..I got a vid or 2 that you can see it in.... I made another out of 6" pipe scrap and it holds 100+ and is easier to fill.

  • do you got a deer camera on it? if not you need to put one and put up a vid of pics it takes

  • It's 4 inch pipe thats 5 feet long - it holds about 20 lbs of corn.

  • how many pounds of corn does the feeder hold. can you fill it up twice or just once with a 50 pound bag?
