The gamecube version looks MUCH better.

Also, all of the cut scenes on the GameCube version are all running using the "in game" graphics, whereas the PS2 versions are all videos.

how comes this is 16:9 widescreen? My version on GC is 'fake' widescreen, meaning it is 4:3 scale with black bars on top and bottom.

because its one of the best games ever made on any platform. and no, the gamecube version is not inferior, it has the best visuals of all the other versions. i don't care if the wii version looks the same, it came out like 2 years later. this game was designed for the GC, that's why it feels great when played with the GC controller.

Nah , the GC version dosen't have the mafia custom , only ps2, wii & PC. But its only the GC & wii version (and PC i think) who can show the change of customes in cinematics. < (R.P.D custom & the Protection Vest) the ps2 cant show any of them

Better late than ever, I just bought a Gamecube (hasn't arrived yet and I was lucky to get a brand new Metroid Prime bundle for an awesome price on ebay) and a used copy in pretty good condition of Resident Evil 4. First time I actually will play more than the first level since I never owned a Gamecube, I don't own and dont' want to own a Wii and the PC version is crap...I don't have a PS2 anymore either.

About the description, stupid fanboys used to think the Gamecube was "inferior" when they never checked out the specs of the system or didn't even play it. This game (and others too but mainly thins one because it was RE and very mainstream) demonstrates the power of the Gamecube...almost as powerful as the Xbox.

The Knife in the amecube version IS an alternate weapon, it takes up no space what so eve. As fo the graphics, it's just a bit sharper, with more lighting type effects.

I can really tell the differences between the graphics cause I've played both versions. And the knife is included in this version too, so the Gamecube version is the best. Well, probably the Wii since it has all the extras and stuff, but otherwise the Gamecube owns.
