you can build a 55 chevy, tubbed, blown etc for right at 20k thats framework, motor, everything i know cause i'm almost done with mine and doing it the cheaper way by looking for parts, not buying all new its a total of 20k. including everything down the road, turn key. you can build for less with smaller motor, but mine has a 496 8-71 bds blower, tubbed,e t c

any were from 50,000 to 800,000 dollars or more

25,000 dollars would build you a nice motor and a paint job and a few other parts but definatly not a pro touring.

@dhig555 around $50,000 to build if you do all the work. $100,000 if you pay to have it done. Why not just buy one that is already done for $40,000? That's the sad thing about hot rods, you rarely get your money back out of them.
