Just so you know, Glen, Liam, Mundy, Declan and myself started at 2pm that day and were still going after 9pm. The event was to raise money for the Simon Community and the Peter McVerry trust who look after homeless people and people with addiction problems. Bono was having a Christmas meal in town with his family and friends and came out to join us for a few songs. Glen Hansard is the real star here. He does this every year.......Steve Wall

Well now MrCatstail, look at the commotion you're causing by posting a video with Bono in it. People should just relax a bit about this ordinary man. He does a lot of good for fellow people and as far as I know causes no harm to anybody. the proceeds from justin's xmas single are goning to charity. justin doesn't go round avoiding tax and then be hypocritical by busking in the streets for charity. maybe all this about the tax dodging isn't directly a course taken by Bono but he has to understand that people think it is the way he works. If he could see how it must look to other people, he would see how this busking looks hypocritical.

Has there ever lived a man more up themselves than Bono? He goes around the world lecturing everyone to give money to charity, while at the same time minimising his own tax payments. Money which could well be needed to pay for services for people who need it. He thinks giving his time is his way of giving something back,as though his time is more important or valuable than the rest of us. What a horrible man.
