Jeff Graham is sweating up a storm because he is wearing a sweat suit, assuming he had is interview right after he worked out, its very easy to lose 7-10 lbs in one day of water weight of course. I used to use it to make weight in wrestling.
he's sweating cause he sees that his career is almost over with this quarterback. Man Ryan Leaf had potential but he just threw it aside. If worked half as hard as most quarterback. Maybe rivers wouldnt be playing right now.
he helped develop NFL Players Anthony Armstrong and Dalton Bell who were on his team that he helped coach at West Texas A and M. He was the quarterbacks coach and you can't have good receivers without a good QB.
@wwdONELOVEallday2 Actually wwd...I didn't even write that racist comment and I appologise. I came home with some friends late last night, checked my email and left it up on the screen. When I saw what they wrote I tried to remove it and can't figure out how. The truth is I would never call somebody the "N" word and am not too proud to have friends that do.
I'm not gonna lie, when the whole Manning/Leaf arguement came up (i was a 6th grader) I picked Leaf. He had the better physical upside. If you watch any of his games at Washington State he was a statistical monster. Manning just seemed like he was lacking physically and was just awkward.
In fairness he did improve alot from 98 to 2000. I wonder if he had got offered a job somewhere as a backup somewhere for a few years if he could have improved even more.
after the chargers he went to tampa bay, the cowboys, and the seahawks and then retired at 26 and then became a quaterback coach or sumin at texas a and m i beileve
I guess you missed the phrase "real comeback''. I know he had some failed comebacks, but id really get a kick outta him getting a starting job next season and having a pro bowl season lol.
On May 21, 2009, Leaf was indicted on burglary and controlled substance charges in Texas. Leaf was reportedly undergoing drug rehab in British Columbia, Canada at the time of the indictment.[
The Bad Boy image use to be admired during the 90's.....if you think too highly of yourself eventually you just crash and burn.
I heard a story that Leaf was "pissed off" when he was stuck with a team dinner bill, which was a tradition for rookies in San Diego. Is this true? If it is, he must have pretty damn cheap considering his $11million signing bonus.
yea it's true. he wasn't big on 'rookie traditions' and that sort of thing. He didn't like the guys pickin around with him during training camp his first year either...which happens to every rookie in the NFL.
DAM man that wouldave bin cool peyton manning ryan leaf brett favre tom brady drew brees 2 bad leaf didnt make it he had a good personaltily he probley wouldave bin my favorite qb instead of p.manning
Leaf would've come back, his personallity and mental stage was maturing, but injuries are what cut him short, all the NFL had to do was give him 1 or 2 more years. Shame, then he got out of the NFL and his life went into a downward spiral.
If Leaf was ever going to breakthrough in his career, it would have been in 2000. It's a real shame. I think he would have become a better, and happier person had he succeeded...
i hope the season worked out for him...
