  • Thanks for posting ! I've been wanting to see this film for years. I can't believe it hasn't been put on dvd yet.

  • I want to use these clips so bad! Anyone have a copy?

  • is this available on dvd? Would love to see it..

  • How could I download the entire movie?

  • Actually, if you close your eyes and just listen to Hedy speak...it's her voice that's enchanting.

  • TCM is showing most Hedy's films this April as star of the month...2010. so here is your chance to see most of her movies, including Comrade X.

  • Hedy Lamarr ...beauty beyond compare, and then some.

  • Nice clip, beautiful woman, thanks for posting

  • Paul is so brilliant. I would have loved to have met him

  • She is so beautiful that it hurts.

  • i love Hollywood lovers playing these scenes

    and shes the most stunning

    takes my breathe away

    loved it

  • Let's hope UTube gets all the movies Hedy DID make! The one I thirst for is "Comrade X" with Clark Gable! "Tortilla Flat" too! Hedy got screwed around by Hollywood, much like Louise Brooks: she would rather paint & study decoding than recline on the producers couches?! Evil sexist "Power-cocks" took away far more than they gave! Hedy was too beautiful - Roz & others could get by on acting skills, but not Hedy!

  • Finally someone understands! And like you, I would be ecstatic if they were to put up Comrade X here! Amazing movie! Clark and Hedy were a wonderful duo!

  • Politeama; I think we could go on like this for days.. :-)) oh yes, Hedy lives on! This is great to know.

  • reminds me of casablanca

  • She was the most beautiful creature ever on the screen. There were, and there have been many beautiful actresses, but Miss Lamarr is on the top of them all, on the very top. Gorgeous!!!!!! Wow!!!!!!!!!!

  • I agree! And The Conspirators is an absolutely great film. very reminiscent of Casablanca as willy517 says. Did you know that Hedy Lamarr actually turned down the role as Ilsa in Casablanca?... well, she did...

  • Hedy Lamarr lost several good movies. "Laura" was another one that she refused. Those movies would have turned her into a super-star. She could have done much more, it was a pity, after all she had a too short of a career. She had the looks and personality for suspense films, for example with Hitchcock, she would have been perfect. Her films are not remarkable but her looks were, you can't take your eyes from her when she on the screen. Wow!!!! Gorgeous!!!

  • Politeama; that was a great comment! Very interesting with the Hitchciock comment, I almost saw her in a Hitchcock movie in my eyes the moment I saw your comment.. you are so right!!

  • Yes my friend, that's the only thing that we can do, dream and imagine her in all those movies where she could have been precious!

  • That is so true! Don´t get me started, I´ll never get finished!

  • No, Hedy did not turn down Casablanca. Warners asked for her, but Mayer said no. MGM made sure that she could not get the role because previously she had refused many movies already.

  • Oh- I got it wrong then. Thank you for the correction, HedyLamarrLegacy! Too bad that Mayer said no- now I suddenly think of him as a much lesser person than 2 minutes ago..

  • This is a fantastic film and an utterly unbelievably great scene from this film. Hedy Lamarr and Paul Henreid are fantastic! Watch it! TCM has it on their program sometimes.
