This is sickening. Here in the UK, I've seen many billboards around town talking about "Carbon" emissions etc.

In fact, I think the binmen here are similar. In my house, my mum tells me to always put used bottles into a clear plastic bag, but to wash them first and throw away the caps. Otherwise I don't think the binmen will accept them.

Same goes for paper. We usually put things like old newspapers into this plastic box outside.

The repetitive song in that commercial is actually more frightening, because it's actually a subliminal message behind it, note the song: "the green police, their looking for me.....the green police their coming to your street". So it's both psychologically and visually manipulating your senses to conform into their ideology of going "green" or go to jail. That's scary.

The "clean diesel version" is exponentially expensive. I think that the advert agencies are just well under the control of the media, the German Audi makers would probably not wish to be associated with this type of advert, just due to the historical reference. I believe the US marketing bypassed Audi's sensibility. Perhaps its time to ask Audi if they would like this to be seen in Germany or Sweden? I'm sure they would lose some market, because no one wants a car associated with fascism.

Well in some places in the world there are incentives to buying into bio diesel, made with cow dung, just not where you live... my husband had gotten due to his job a BMW diesel by accident so they gave him the same price as the bensin one, he's noticed the fact that he hadn't had to refuel as much and it was much less on travel cost, however if he had to have paid the real price it MAY have been off set by the expense of the car.
