Reagan was a good president until he got shot. he was shot because of his work with the Grace Commission; which was founded to root out wasteful spending in the federal government. He found that all income tax money foes to pay the debt generated by borrowing from the Federal Reserve. When he recovered, he reappointed the chairman of the Fed for another full term.

he learned his lesson and became a puppet.

Wow, that was quite something to watch, you could see the pressure he was under while standing there on cam after tossing the coin, 3 million people watching.

Well, I don't know enough about Regan to judge him, but being a Brit, he will always be the image of a true American president to me. (and Lincoln of course)

Not really a fan of the Super Bowl or Reagan, but this was strangely amazing to see. It's a piece of history, and one that many people probably didn't see! The behind-the-scenes of a Presidential Coin-Toss, the very epitome of a co-opted government.. Plus it was fun just to see him trying so hard despite the dementia!
