It seems common that people can land varial kickflips but not kickflips. But i can land kickflips and heelflips but not varials :P

You gotta learn kickflip's flick, I guess.

@Krankdatking Try and give it a good clean flick off the side, sort of just scoop ur foot outward and flick it out at the same time, and also if thats not the problem then try placing ur back foot in a better pop position whatever feels comfortable for u

@peboys101 depends on how you learn the flip best. i do them flip first then shuv somewhere between midway to after flipped. i think it just looks cooler that way. but most people do both at the same time

@peboys101 Pop shuvit first. Pop diagonal though dont scoop that much just pop diagonal. As you pop the board diagonal bend your front legs knee up and lightly flick the board straight out...light flick

I can hardflip but i cant do a do a varial flip... i dont get it, my board just spins 90 in a varial flip. and did anyone find that whem they were learning to kickflip they just flicked their foot a bit quicker and sorta lighter so they could bring it in faster? then you get air catches :D

@MrUgotmurked Try to Stay Level, and keep your shoulders even. Pretend your inside of a box. And when you jump, nothing can go outside of that box. (Arms, Legs, etc.) Apply to all tricks. Should help. Helped me a lot with flip tricks.
