The Palestinians - that is interesting - based on the history I know - The Gaza Strip belonged to Egypt and so called West Bank belonged to Jordan so when Israel went to war they went to war with Egypt and Jordan not with so called "Palestine" Why didn't the Palestinians attack Egypt and Jordan before the 67 war??? Some of the things you say are good, but I'd like to respectfully disagree on a few things and clarify on some others:

Religious Jews do believe that God gave them the Promised Land, but many Jews today are secular and Zionism as a movement did not originate out of Judaism. Its prominent leaders were actually European secularists. Also, Zionism began BEFORE the Holocaust around the end of the 19th century after the Dreyfus Affair in France in which a French officer was stripped...end pt.1

Still, Israeli Arabs can vote and are free to do many things. End pt.5

Pt.6 They are still treated unfairly, however. Finally, as to a solution: Using the UN to "punish" the Israelis would not accomplish anything. Whose to say they would listen. It would not absolve the hate of either side b/c it would be forced upon them and Jews everywhere would be very angry. What we should do as the US, is stop supporting both sides with money, false promises, and weak bromides. It didn't work for the British, it won't work for us. End pt.6

Pt.7 <-Last one. We should let them solve their own problem by themselves. We can trade with each group and hold a position of peace that favors neither side over the other. Only if they fix it themselves will lasting peace occur. Personally, I think a two-state solution first, and then a one-state solution would be best. But it's up to them.
