"If you watch the video you will see that the intention is to reduce mortality associated with catch and release fishing, in particular for fly fishing."
-After discussing with Mr. Robbins and Fisheries Section staff we have agreed that this system is legal for use in Ontario.
Interesting...but illegal in Ontario. It's what anglers here call "lining or flossing" and a hook set outside the mouth is considered a snagged fish.
