Monster should be much more popular, since it is, no doubt, the best anime of all time.

I think the major mistake they made was never releasing it in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It would have been awesome to watch it in German and the people here would actually recognize some of the settings and know more about the Stasi and stuff.

In Germany, only anime like Naruto get popular, because most people think anime is just for kids (Why don't people realise that, just because we only use animation for stuff like Mickey Mouse, that doesn't mean, that it can ONLY be used for that?).

And even Naruto gets censored (even nosebleeding), so an anime like Monster would never have a chance...

Besides, they always mess up the dubs. Naruto sounds like a 20yr old nerd who smokes too much and is always shouting in an aggressive manner, even when he's happy.

And they sometimes even ignore the original storyline and make stuff up to match the lipsynching.
