@zaki1981 Illegal method?!?! Hes using a cast net in Florida to catch mullet! What illegal about that? A cast net was used to catch mullet. How else can you catch mullet? Only way I can think of to catch mullet with rod and reel is snagging! These aren't game fish, if it was then it would be a problem!
I don't get why people always compare stuff..seriously..if it's a video showing that he's using a freaken net..then it's a freaken net that he's going to use..not a fishing rod.
@69Shenny 1. its more work throwing a casting net then using rod and reel. 2. who cares if he is using a cast net personally i think they are fun to use. 3. Cast nets can get very expensive up to $300.
@69Shenny Well you know, a casting net is usually more expensive than a fishing rod. Plus a net is harder to use, so there's a good chance he knows how to use a fishing rod. And why use a fishing rod when you can possibly dozens of fishes with one throw of a net
Hey, check out my fishing channel we might only have one video at the moment but believe me, There will be ALOT more. So check it out subscribe, friend, ect. Thanks guys i need the support.
@mulletnets ya i will and arent u the guy from the tallen nets? heard they were amazing. i just started out castnetting. tried looking for a 5' but ended up getting a 4' but still works great. last time my dad and i went out we went to every baitshop looking for shrimp, cause we are down here in the keys, and no baitshop had them. so thank gosh i had my cast net i caught shrimp for us. i caught like 3 or 4 dozen. and we caught a nice amount of snappers.
No these went under the knife and onto the grill of my smoker and was served with a side of grits and tomato gravy and corn bread. Thanks for looking and your comment that was a fine snook you caught on your video.
