the Exeter Students were both 3rd year undergraduates. I believe the Brunel students were first and second year.

Hey!
Brunel folks just finished their first year. At the time when this competition took place, they were in their second term of year 2 for an LLB degree. I am not quite sure as to the year of students from Exeter. I believe they were final year students, but don't take my words for it.
Remember these competitions are designed as learning opportunities where experienced and unexperienced mooters take part. The learning is in taking part.
