I've been playing bars with projectors lately and have been trying to use snes, super gb, and a gameboy camera to do visuals. if you have any circuit bending tips, or can think of some video filters I could use, please share.

I know circuit bending is a pretty awesome thing to do but isn't this going a bit too far?

I have a SNES laying around which I am planning to bend, but I'm afraid of accidentally writing a line of zeroes into a chip who will remember that line instead of doing weird stuff and then forgetting about it. Which chips are 100% (or 99%) safe?
