You can always use small Velcro cable ties to shorten cables, but you can't lengthen short ones. This is certainly not a "bad" product but I would not purchase this to replace a longer cable that already preforms the same function..

Except it's black and about twice that size I think.

But it's typically JUST long enough to plug it into the front of a medium-sized Desktop-tower and put the phone or any other similar device on top of the case. :P
