WCBS-TV's "Eye on New York" was descended from a radio program called "This Is New York" which ran on WCBS radio (880 AM) beginning in 1946; the host of that, as on this show, was future CBS News soft-news vice president Bill Leonard. I.I.N.M., it later evolved into "Channel 2 Eye On." It is no relation to today's "Eye on New York" on Channel 2 which debuted in 2008.

CBS also had studios in Grand Central up to 1964 when they moved to the CBS Broadcast Center on West 57th Street. Obviously, this was pre-'64.
