our symphony is playing this piece, I was sad that the vid begins around a minute into the actual piece. There's a whole section before the train chords in the brass that, judging from this, would have sounded beautiful and quite superior.

to be fair Justin, the Newmarket Enrichment Band is made up of mostly grade 8s and a couple grade 7s. This band is made up of university students that are paying to have an education in music. (Newmarket Enrichment Band member alumni 2000)

Rick, this is simply AMAZING! I now believe this to be the finest orchestra in our entire region. I have watched this video several times, and I notice the total dedication of the orchestra members.. this does not come with anything but love and respect for their director. My hat is off to you Mr. McKee; I only wish I could have seen this in person.

i'm in a local youth orchestra and we're playing this song.. it's pretty easy, but at the same time kind of hard because the 16th notes in that scale section are SUPER fast.... I'm only a freshman(9th grade) though so it's challenging but it'll be pretty awesome when we get it all together. :)))

that orchestra is like 20x the size of mine and we did that last winter with 45ish players and it was amazing. I played our recording simotaniously with the movie version and there were barely any differnces. this is beautiful though
