  • ok thanx

  • Do I see two of those?

  • If you look really hard, yes, a pair of sequentially serial numbered 1-71 generator sets, side by side.

  • Hehe! the flapper exhaust went up and down and up and down!:D Funny sound..

  • This was originally know as GM Diesel.

  • True, technically it is a GM Diesel 1-71...

  • Thanks.

  • Beautiful. I love that sound very reminiscent of the hit and miss engines.

  • Nice little engines which have a very thin blower on them to provide the requisite forced scavenging. Top speed is governed at 1800 rpm, where it produces 16 horsepower. I wonder why it didn't do very well on the market.

  • Probably one of the most expensive and heavy 16 horsepower engines ever produced in modern times.

  • cool !
