why does everyone keep talkin trash about pontiac sunfires? nobody said they could beat a expensive high performance car, they dont cost much, they look cool and are fun to mod, they have decent power and great gas milage, whats the problem with them? and being a high school student, i have raced all my friends cars and beat them all with my gt, i really dont care if a supra could own me i only had to spend a few grand on the sunfire and its awesome.

those sound like times you would get the twin cam that was related to Quad4 of the 80s. In 2003 The sunfire/cavi recieved all aluminum 4 banger called the ecotec. Form what i the test i have read a fulled load automatic sunfire runs 16.3 with a auto. Keep in mindi am aware of wear and tear and climate affect 1/4 mile times but under best conditions its 16.3 dont believe me look it up

sounds a lot better than the magnaflow on my sunfire i threw it on last week to see what it would sound like and i cant stand it on take off i sound like a honda civic with the worlds biggest fart can on it so im changing the hole thing and running duel cannons out the back give me a mean sound u should have take off clip in there man see what it sounds like pulling

a stock auto sunfire does a 16.3 a stock f-150 is the 16 17 range. son unless you some bolt ons such as catback,higher gears and programer to tie it all together your not going to blow any body out of the water look up the 1/4 mile times
@Ilovegirlfights2 A stock auto sunfire runs the 1/4 in 17s and 0-60 in high 10s stock. A manual sunfire runs 0-60 in 8s and the 1/4 mile in 16s. I think you have the two confused.
I love Fords but jeez thats a V8 full size truck, at first they'll have the better run in a long run race then you'll catch up and beat it, you make yourself sound like a retard saying your full size truck with a big V8 can beat a 4banger or small stock V6. Hell my explorers could beat a stock sunfire but that don't mean they're mean just because they can beat a stock 4banger, sunfire's are good cars I've got one to know.
