This is perhaps one of the greatest films ever made, it's Sergio at his very best as he always was. The acting is just brilliant, and ofcourse nobody does a musical score better than Ennio. It's just breathtaking.

The Music is haunting yet beatiful.

In 2009 I returned to my old school after 8 years away to do a work placement and because of the empty feeling the place now has I could hear this music ringing through my ears as I walked along the street outside. I got the exact same feeling that Noodles (De Niro) must have felt in his old man scenes of this movie. Strange the effect Music can have on you.
