Personally, I think they never should have made the fourth Pirates of the Carribean movie. It's not the same without Will and Elizabeth, but granted, their plotlined were over by the end of POTC 3. I HATED Penelope Cruz, I hated that religious twerp and his Syrena (I face-palmed when I heard it).

But I loved Captain Jack and Barbossa and Mr Gibbs. I hope they don't make another POTC movie or else they're seriously risking it with the audience. Just my two cents.

Yes, you probably haven't heard of it since i don't think it was marketed very well. It's just disgusting really, No Tom Cruise, no Dakota Fanning or anything. Just stupid and a waste of money.

The sequels I think sucked:

-The Ring 2 and 3 (I admit to having been scared of the first one

-Psycho 2, 3, and 4 (The first one was genius, but the next three just sucked)

-The Exorcist 2 and 3

-Ghostbusters 2 and 3

-Fierce Creatures (Some consider it a sequel to A Fish Called Wanda)

-A Number of the later Star Trek Movies (Other than the occaisional good one such as the most recent)

-The Grudge 2 and 3

One of the great movie series though are the Batman movies (RIP Heath Ledger).

I do agree with you on 99.9% of this, Ghostbusters 2 is not the best sequel, but its an ok movie. By the way When did Ghostbusters 3 come out, unless you counted the game, or the script that recentley got the green light.

The American Pie movies after 'The Wedding' are without a doubt some of the most pathetic sequels ever made. No story hardly at all. The only make them for the nudity I think now. American Pie 1+2 were brilliant.

Personally I like Evil Dead 3. Though not as much as the others. Good vid Jordan

It might only be me, but i thought that "The Matrix Reloaded" was really good. It is nowhere near as good as the first one, but its also nowhere near as bad as the third one. Anyways, i think that some of the worst movie sequels are: Spiderman 3, Speed 2, Shrek the third, Superman 4, Scary Movie 3 +4, Airplane 2 (Because all the main jokes were repeated) and Disaster Movie.

Nice list Jordan! But the worst of the worst has to be Stuart Little 3. The standard raised by the first 2 movies was so high, it could only go downhill. Stuart Little 1 & 2 remain 2 of the best movies ever created. Of course, I'm joking, I'd say The Godfather 3 because of how good the first two were and how bad (truly bad) the 3rd film is.
