this might be one of my personally favorite musical moments out of anything I've ever heard. thanks a lot for posting this, i've literally watched it hundreds of times, and probably have several hundred more to go.
I find this last part very moving. Brad and the guys are, and they take me along in their flight. Fantastic. I saw this live at the time, but it's nice to see this documentary back now in a quieter moment.Thanx for posting.
Thanks you very much for posting this video. I have been quite inspired, now I'm sitting at the piano trying to figure out what the hell is going on... I wonder how long I'll be here?
This whole series was great - thanks for the post! It's interesting comparing this last clip (London Blues) with the recorded track in Art of the Trio 4. Lots of similar ideas but a very different sound, esp with Jorge's solo at the beginning.
fuckin great upload, thanks for this, mate!

somebody told me that jorge quit playing drums, is this true and does anybody know why?

It´s true, mehldau´s trio was for quite some time his remaining drum gig- he´s a pianist now, no kidding. Hence Jeff Ballard playing the trio now.
